I was born in Gdańsk, Poland in 2001. In 2025 I finished my MA in painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in prof. Maciej Świeszewski's studio.

The not so hidden, colorful world right under my nose - flowers always amazed me. Their anatomical structures, fragile, sometimes imperfect petals full of textures and saturated colors.

Making hybrids of different daylilies, irises quickly became my passion, collection of different, sometimes weird flowers grew and grew. I decided to follow in Georgia O'Keeffe's footsteps and paint them on monumental canvases.

I started with painting realistic portraits of single flowers, then got closer and closer to the models, distorting proportions, changing hues a bit to better fit chosen color scheme, which resulted in almost abstract compositions. In my newest paintings I started experimenting with multiplication of composed fragments, fusing them almost symmetrically.

My drawings are also based on floral closeups, but a flower stripped of its colors displays other possibilities- it gives me a chance to go further with the details without it being too chaotic. Works often end up resembling some abstract landscapes filled with texture, folds and protrusions.

When looking at the petals my eye always searches for the most visually stimulating, interesting fragments, that can somehow sum up or describe entire flower. The closer I look into the petals, the more I want to show.
